Take the road to devils bridge from the parking instead of Mescal trail, it’s not worth it you add an extra 1-1.5 miles, and it’s confusing as there are no real trail signs. There is a wait at the top and the escalation come very quickly when you get to the trail head, bring lots of water and hangout at the top for a bit!

Do not sleep in the botanical trail, that’s where you see a lot of the greenery and water and just a relaxing atmosphere. Overall very nice I would recommend

It’s a difficult hike for an out of shape person! But it’s rewarding at the end, I lied that this was a road less traveled compared to the front of the mountain!
