This waterfront town is the gateway to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a swath of pristine forest and jeweled lakes. Take advantage of KOA's free shuttle to the ferry that takes you to gracious Mackinac Island, where bicycles and horse and buggies are the only forms of transportation. Families love the area's beaches, lighthouse tours and state historic parks, complete with 18th-century forts and costumed interpreters. Pool: June 15 - September 15. Max pull thru: 80 feet.
