I just love seeing the raw power of flowing water over time. It’s a definite stop on your way to/from Crater Lake. Just incredible observation points, a nice easy trail along the river with plenty of pull-out spots to catch some sun, take a dip, or do some fishing. Great spot!

It was a little crowded when I went, but it was a great, short hike along the river with some great views leading to the platform. There’s a space to get down to the water, over the fence. I didn’t go for that part as some others did. River flow was rock in’!

Amazing what water can do over time! The observation platform was great, but we had to hike down to the bridges. Wear good shoes, as it’s pretty steep (as others have said). Go to the left of the observation platform & take your first right down a dark, overgrown trail. You’ll go under 2 fallen trees in the first 15 ft, to know you’re on the right path. The trail to the right was closed when I was there (last week) reportedly due to some rock slide issues.
