From the Spring Farm parking area of the Mohonk Preserv, Bonticou Crag is 3 mile loop hike follows a difficult rock scramble to the summit, with gorgeous views over the surrounding area. From the start to the summit is 1.5 mile hike the only part of the hike that is challenging is the rock scramble but but the scramble what makes this hike so much fun. The views from the summit are breathtaking, in front of you can see Catskills. For sunset this is one of the best places to be on. Bonticou Crag also is a great place to go rock climbing for beginners.

Such a great hike in Mohonk. The rock scrambling is a blast as you climb to the top of the cliff for very expansive views. It is very common to see rock climbers around here also. There are some great routes to the right of the trail scramble.
