My husband and I did the hike out to the point and it was a beautiful trail, overlooking the bay beside the peninsula. However, you need to know that the trails all have muddy sections and sometimes the boggy areas have big roots throughout them. It can be slippery. We saw people with little fluffy dogs in tow turning around quickly and girls in dresses making all the way to the point! I guess it depends on what you want! I recommend bringing water and snacks. There is a good chance that you may need a raincoat. If you have walking sticks I’d bring them!
