Description

Added by Will Yeomans

This is an awesome, family friendly hike just a few minutes from the valley. There are great opportunitys to see wildlife and see breathtaking sunsets.

This hike starts at the Orson Smith Park on Highland Drive. From here, the trail climbs up the side of the hill on switchbacks through the scrub oak. The trail soon reaches a road where you cross and continue on the trail. After some more switchbacks you will come to a fork. For this hike, stay on the left of every turn off while going up. You will pass a total of three forks. After the last fork you will meander through a flat section and reach the bridge. The hike is a total of 2 miles, one up, one down. Once at the top you will have unobstructed views of the city and the sunset.

Catch a Sunset at the Suspension Bridge Reviews

Seeing the view of SLC at night is great. It was easy, and short but has a wonderful view. Totally worth an hour.
