A bit of a local secret, Pioneer Park is your one-stop-spot for outdoor adventure in St. George.

Pioneer Park has many activity options including rock climbing, hiking, photography, a nature garden, and a scenic drive.

When you get to the marked location, turn right for the Red Hills Desert Garden or to keep driving for the scenic route along the road that cuts through and around Pioneer Park. Also turn right for rock climbing, drive up the road past the Red Hills Desert Garden and you'll eventually come up to a big dirt parking lot on your right. From there you can blaze your own trail or follow other locals to the Dixie D, the St George Arch, the St George Narrows, or find the leads and anchors set up in a few of the canyons for rock climbing. If you're looking to go bouldering or hiking, turn left at the marked location and you can park in the paved parking lot at the end of the road.

Pioneer Park has something for everyone, from the smallest toddler to the most hard-core outdoorsman. Don't leave St. George without checking it out!
