Explore the Great Falls of the Passaic River

I live relatively close to Paterson. The falls are something you can look at for a few minutes and then move on. The area around it is nice for a picnic and for children to play, but that's about it. Don't get me wrong, the falls are nice, but they're nothing to write home about.

Hike to Jacoby Run Falls

I went during a time when there hadn't been a lot of precipitation and I wasn't as prepared for the ice as I thought I was, but aesthetically, it was a nice place. The view of the mountains was nice, but there was a lot of "eh" buildup until getting to the waterfall. Worth the walk though.
