GREAT HIKE!! The view was amazing at the top. Must see experience!! Does get kinda hard during the last mile or so but overall not too bad.

This was a great hike, around 6 miles for me. I absolutely loved how nice the park was all together. Plan to go back next weekend. Tons of camping spots as well as horse back riding. Super immense variety of hikes of all different difficulties. This hike was my first solo hike, as well as the hardest hike I have done. The view definitely pays off though! Weather was great, a bit hot, but I prefer it that way! On the way back stopped at the trading post/restaurant. Food was pretty good after a long day and they offer pretty good priced camping gear as well. (Also is like a little souvenir shop to.) Overall 10/10!

Amazing trip will definitely be back to hike more. Weather was beautiful, however once you get to the top of the mountain there are a LOT of nats so bring bug spray! On a good note, there is a restaurant and bar on top of the mountain. I could not get in, that is something you are definitely going to need a reservation for. It did look absolutely delicious though! Have not been up there to hit the slopes yet but will be definitely be there some time again this year for that. I hiked a little while there and it was beautiful, your basically on the side of the mountain. Can’t wait to get back out there. Also, a fun experience to the top is the tramway, and I definitely recommend doing that at least once.

Holy smokes. This is a must see experience! The pictures do not do these caves justice. I personally absolutely loved this park, everything about it was drop dead stunning; from the drive to the caves and the caves themselves. The visitors center was very nice, had a cute gift shop and restaurant. Outside of the park there is a motel, rv park, and some more little unique gift shops and a grocery store. Only suggestion I have is to definitely make a reservation! That park is always busy and they only take so many walk-ins. I don’t think it is on their website I could be wrong, but make sure to make your reservation a day ahead of time. Also, go early! The last reservation can be made at 2:15. Overall, a blast! I will be back for some of there hiking trails they have.

Perfect weather the time I went. Remember though, it is Texas so I would plan accordingly! It is something to say it is cool you saw, however I don’t think I would go again besides maybe to show some friends.
