Wide variety of climbs next to each otherStunning views

The 13 Mile Scenic Drive is indeed scenic. It is also a one-way road so be sure to know when the turnout for your crag is coming up, otherwise you'll need to make another loop.

With grippy sandstone and gorgeous views for both belayer & climber (or hiker), it's a great desert playground. Since it is the desert, do keep in mind that winters can be quite cold (gloves recommended for warming up in the morning / if you're climbing in the shade). And conversely, summers can be scorching with little shade so remember to bring plenty of sunscreen & water.

Depending on the crag, they aren't always easy to find and scrambling is usually required, which makes for great warm-up before you get on the rock.
